EC English Language Schools: London (Junior) bietet keine Sprachreisen während der oben genannten Ferienzeit an, bitte wähle einen anderen Starttermin aus.

Kursbeschreibung

Learn English in a traditional school with excellent sporting facilities. Stay with a local family and experience English cultural life. Enjoy a fun and varied activity programme covering all of London’s top attractions. That’s everything you need for an unforgettable summer in London!

Based in a beautiful independent college in London (travel zone 3), students stay in welcoming homestays in the area and experience the delights of London during their free time. Living with a family in London, can be both a new and wonderful experience. Students will have the unique opportunity to share and experience the day to day life of the family together with all the diversity of English culture. EC staff members are available at all times to help students adjust to life in an English family, and to serve as a liaison between them and their homestay provider.

What's Included:
• English course: 20 morning / afternoon lessons (45 mins each) per week for a total of 15 hours. The course will help improve English language skills by focusing on the key areas: reading, writing, speaking and listening. A strong focus is placed on speech and using the language confidently and fluently.
• Airport transfers (arrival and departure)
• Accommodation on full board
• Transport to all activities
• Supervised activity programme:
> 5 half day activities, 3 evening activities and 2 family evenings per week
> 1 full day trip and 1 family day for students staying minimum 2 weeks

Room Type:
• Twin room - students are placed in a twin room with other students of the same gender.

Rooms include:
• Desk/table where students can do their homework (if not in the room, a place for studying will be provided in a common area)
• Storage space
• Students will be provided with access to living areas during acceptable hours

What to Expect from the Residence:
• All students will have access to a phone and will be allowed to accept incoming calls. If students want to make phone calls they must use a calling card. Calling cards can be found in many local stores.
• Bed linen is provided; students should bring their own towels- linen and towels will be cleaned once a week.
• Laundry facilities will be provided by the family once a week.

Meals
• Breakfast - Tea/coffee, toast, jam and cereal with the homestay provider.
• Lunch - Lunch at the school cafeteria on weekdays and homestay provider on weekends: a combination of hot and cold lunches
• Dinner - Dinner at the school cafeteria and homestay provider on alternate days: a combination of hot and cold dinners

If students have specific diet requirements EC must be informed of this prior to their arrival.
