Kursbeschreibung

Brighton is a cool and fashionable coastal resort close to London. Always popular with English learners, this beautiful seaside city attracts students from all over the world. Although it’s a traditional town, it has a young atmosphere and a reputation for fun!

Homestay provides a friendly and comfortable home for students during their stay in Brighton. Students receive a lot of exposure to the English language, culture and way of life. EC’s accommodation staff members visit all homestay providers before they are accepted to host students and then follow up with regular home visits to ensure the comfort and safety of our students.

What's Included:
• English course: 20 morning / afternoon lessons (45 mins each) per week for a total of 15 hours. The course will help improve English language skills by focusing on the key areas: reading, writing, speaking and listening. A strong focus is placed on speech and using the language confidently and fluently.
• Airport transfers (arrival and departure)
• Accommodation on full board
• Supervised activity programme:
> 4 half day activities and 4 evening activities per week
> 1 full day excursion for students staying minimum 2 weeks

Room Type:
• Twin room - students are placed in a twin room with other students of the same gender

Rooms include:
• Desk/table where students can do their homework (if not in the room, a place for studying will be provided in a common area)
• Storage space
• Students will be provided with access to living areas during acceptable hours

What to Expect from the Residence:
• Bed linen is provided; students should bring their own towels- linen and towels will be cleaned once a week.
• Laundry facilities will be provided by the family once a week.

Meals
• Breakfast - Students receive a continental breakfast at their host family.
• Lunch - Students will receive a hot lunch at the residence or in the city centre during the week except on days when they are out on excursions. At the weekend they will be provided with lunches by their homestay provider. Packed Lunch: Sandwiches, Crisps, Fruit, Chocolate Bar & Juice. Hot Lunch: Salads, Pasta, Chicken, Fish & Chips, Pizza & Drink.
• Dinner - Students will have a hot meal with the homestay provider.

If students have specific diet requirements EC must be informed of this prior to their arrival.
